Camping in assisting in Illinois?
I'm trying to camping with some of my friends. We may have to take two cars if eight people decide to come. But of all However, is there any good places to camp that you've heard good things about are no more than two hours away from Aurora, Illinois. We are also tight money and as much as you can afford, as twenty dollars a night at a campsite. You also have to pay in advance or online reservations can be made easily and then pay when you get there?
You want a state park since it will be very difficult to find a camp of private property for less than $ 20 per night. Chain O Lakes State Park is nice and less than 2 hours away. For a class of a site that is $ 25 per night. This will give the campsite with water, electricity, dump station bathrooms with showers and hot water. A Class B site is less than $ 20 per night and give a more rustic, with latrines. You can still walk / The entrance to the school sections and the use of bathrooms / showers because they are camping in the park (prolly better to pay smaller and get the kind of a site). There No reservations are necessary, you only pay when you check in at the time of billing (if you want a site of class A) that asks if you want to stay at Honeysuckle or Fox Den. Tell Fox Den and that was just added to the park and everything is new. If you go when it is full, your ticket will blank other then a "F" Fox Den or "H" to Honeysuckle, and you can pick any open spot in that section. If it is full will be assigned a site. If you want to pay less then want to Turner South Lake, which is just a 3-5 minute walk to the baths with showers Fox Den. They have some reservations and has a few cabins that can be rent (but more than $ 20 per night).
