Online Travel Reservation System

If I build a travel site how I can get my site to communicate with a reservation system for hotel rooms in the hotel?

I have a place online travel site idea and am trying to find information on how a customer can book a room in my room with a particular hotel? Are there software that connects the two? Also, if anyone has any idea as to costs would be appreciated? I will provide additional services. Thanks

The website automatically faxes hotel and hotel reservation manually enter in their records. (Strange, but true.) Have you talked to the hotel? They will tell you that the system they use. So must contact the system operates to determine the terms of the contract, fees, and the protocol for communication with the system.
